Siding Repair and Exterior Restoration in Fort Collins

Hail, wind and Colorado sun wear on the sides of a house as much as the top. Forever Home repairs and restores siding, fascia, soffit and trim across Fort Collins and Northern Colorado, matched to the rest of the home so the repair does not announce itself.

Exterior services

Everything below the roofline, done to match.

Roofing and exterior work go together. The same storm that bruises shingles cracks siding and dents trim, so we inspect and document the whole envelope and write one scope for all of it.

Siding repair and replacement

Cracked, loose, warped or hail-chipped panels replaced with siding that matches the existing profile, texture and color as closely as current products allow. When a section is too far gone, we replace it in full and blend the transition.

Fascia repair

Fascia boards take water from the roof edge and the gutters and rot quietly behind the paint. We replace damaged fascia, check the drip edge and gutter attachment, and finish it to match the trim.

Soffit and trim restoration

Sagging soffit, peeling window and door trim, and corner boards that have split from sun and freeze-thaw. Restored or replaced, sealed and painted so the lines of the house read clean again.

Storm damage exterior repair

Hail chips paint and cracks panels on the storm-facing sides, and wind pulls siding loose at the corners. We document the damage with photos and a written scope alongside the roof, then repair it as one job.

01

Inspect the whole envelope

We look at siding, fascia, soffit, trim and the roof edge together, photograph what is damaged and check what is behind it.

02

Match materials

We identify the existing profile and color and source the closest match. If an exact match is no longer made, we show you the options before anything is ordered.

03

You approve the written scope

Before work starts, you review the photos, the materials and an itemized scope. If roof and exterior work are both needed, it is one scope, one schedule.

04

Build, seal, paint, walk through

Damaged sections come off, the wall behind is checked, new material goes on, joints are sealed and finished, and we walk the result with you.

Siding questions

What homeowners ask about siding and exterior repair.

Can you repair just the damaged section of siding, or does the whole wall need replacing?

Usually just the damaged section. Individual panels and boards can be replaced when a matching product is available. If the profile is discontinued or damage covers most of a wall, replacing the full elevation gives a cleaner result, and we explain that choice before you decide.

Will the new siding match the color of the old siding?

We match the profile and the closest current color. Older siding has faded in the Colorado sun, so new material can look slightly brighter at first. Where the difference would be noticeable, painting the elevation is an option we discuss up front.

What is the difference between fascia, soffit and trim?

Fascia is the vertical board along the roof edge where gutters attach. Soffit is the underside of the roof overhang. Trim is the boards around windows, doors and corners. All three take weather and are common repair points.

Does hail actually damage siding?

Yes. Hail chips paint and finish, cracks vinyl and fiber cement, and dents aluminum trim and window wraps, usually on the sides facing the storm. It is documented in the same inspection as the roof.

Can siding damage be included in my roof insurance claim?

Storm damage to siding and trim is often part of the same claim as the roof, depending on your policy. We photograph and document the exterior alongside the roof so your insurer has the full picture. We do not negotiate claims or promise outcomes.

My fascia is rotting. Is that a roof problem or a siding problem?

Often both. Rotted fascia usually means water is getting past the drip edge or an overflowing gutter. We repair the fascia and fix the cause at the roof edge, otherwise the new board rots the same way.

Is the exterior inspection free too?

Yes. Siding, fascia, soffit and trim are inspected along with the roof, at no cost, and you receive the photos and written findings whether or not you hire us.
